Throughout our long history, Swartz Retson's professionals have repeatedly demonstrated our commitment to quality, integrity and independence. The growing complexities in the attestation and assurance service area require that our commitment be renewed on every engagement performed.
Requirements for an audit or other attestation service vary based on specific needs of an organization. Lending institutions may require these services to meet the requirements of a loan covenant; grantors may require it in order to consider funding the organization; the owners or board of an organization may determine it a vital part of carrying out their fiduciary responsibility.
Rest assured that we have the expertise necessary to perform attestation services designed to meet the specific needs of your business or organization. We take several hours of continuing education each year to stay current with accounting and industry standards.
We offer three levels of financial statement services: audits, reviews and compilations. Audits and reviews are attestation engagements that provide reasonable or limited assurance, respectively, as to the material representation of a business or organization’s financial statements. Compilations involve taking management’s information and presenting them in standard financial statement format. Assurance services can also involve subjects other than financial reporting.
Our mission is to provide timely, professional, and ethical business advisory services to our clientele, be actively involved in our community and promote professional and personnel in a working environment that encourages initiative, innovation and teamwork
